Dawgs on the Bus

Did you know you can hop on IndyGo right from Butler’s campus and explore all that Indianapolis has to offer? Dawgs on the Bus is designed to help the Butler community feel more comfortable using IndyGo and see public transit as a safe, affordable, and sustainable way to get around Indianapolis.

During this experience, an IndyGo staff member will ride with us to provide hands-on rider training, help participants learn how to navigate the system, and answer questions along the way. After a short training, we’ll travel together to Glendale Town Center, where participants can explore the Indy Farmers Market and shop for fresh, local produce or use the trip to visit Target, Sephora, Old Navy, Bath & Body Works, and more. Bus fare will be covered for all participants and purchased in advance, so RSVP is required. As part of registration, participants will also complete a short pre-event survey to help us better understand perceptions of public transit and potential barriers to using IndyGo.

The Butler University Office of Sustainability, Founder’s College, and SGA Diversity, Equity, and Student Belonging Board hope you’ll join us for this opportunity to learn how to navigate IndyGo, explore Indianapolis, and experience public transit firsthand!
