Butler Percussion Ensemble February 25, 2026 Schrott Center for the Arts Join the Butler Percussion Ensemble for an electrifying evening of rhythm, color, and sound. Butler’s outstanding percussionists perform on an expansive collection of instruments—from the thunderous power of bass drums and timpani to the shimmering resonance of vibraphones, marimbas, and cymbals. The program features guest performances by two Butler percussion faculty artists: jazz drum set faculty member Chelsea Hughey and percussion instructor Craig Hetrick. Music by Casey Canglosi, Pat Metheny, Philip Glass, William Duckworth, Emmanuel Séjourné, and Victor LaBozzetta highlights the diversity and innovation of today’s percussion repertoire.
