About this event
For over a century, Historically Black Greek Organizations, also known as the Divine Nine or D9, for short, have played an instrumental part in college students finding their community and a sense of belonging as they survived, thrived, and navigated higher education.
As part of the Black Intellectual Series on Black Erasure, The Hub on Black Affairs and Community Engagement invites you to join them and members of these illustrious organizations as they discuss how their membership in a D9 organization helps counter erasure on college campuses and beyond.

Jordan Hall is the main academic and administrative building on the Butler campus. The stately building-its full name is the Arthur Jordan Memorial Hall-was one of the first on Butler's Fairview campus, which opened in 1928. Constructed with gray Carolina granite with pinkish tinges, it was named for Arthur Jordan, who, in his lifetime, gave over $1 million to Butler-an unprecedented sum at the time.
