Though we live in a diverse world, it can be hard to meaningfully engage with those whose viewpoints or identities differ from our own. This can result in discomfort and a lack of productive dialogue. The Division of DEI will host micro-sessions for you to learn practical strategies for engaging in meaningful and potentially challenging dialogues, especially with those different from you. These tools will help you respond more effectively and navigate conversations that produce uncomfortable emotional responses. Session topics are Active Listening and Navigating Triggers. RSVP is required.
